Between Lace & Leather

The bond between horse and rider is built over thousands of quiet moments—early mornings and long rides, whispered conversations no one else can hear, trust earned one day at a time. These partnerships become part of who we are, carrying our victories, our memories, and sometimes even our grief.

A few months before this session, Jess and Deputy said goodbye to Deputy’s brother, Sheriff. If you look closely, you’ll see his tail woven into the saddle—a small but powerful reminder that the ones we love never truly leave the journeys they helped shape. Somewhere between lace and leather, the sun glittered in celebration of life, gently urging us forward with the memories of those that ride alongside us.
